Q. How do I find my size?
The NeeBrace Elite comes in S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Use the sizing chart on this page to match your measurements โ measure the circumference of your leg about 5.5 inches above the center of your kneecap with your leg straight, and pick the size that matches your number.

Q. What if I'm between two sizes?
We generally recommend going up. The dial gives you room to adjust the fit on the larger end of the range, while sizing down can leave you feeling restricted.
Q. What if my leg size changes a bit through the day?
Many people find that their leg size shifts slightly after standing, walking, or activity. The dial lets you loosen or tighten the fit as you go, without taking the brace off.
Q. Is it for the left or right knee?
The NeeBrace Elite is designed to fit left and right knee separately. If you'd like support on both, you'll need two.
Q. What's different about the dial?
Most braces have one fixed tightness โ they're either too loose to support you or too tight to wear for long. The dial on the NeeBrace Elite lets you set the fit you actually want, and adjust it through the day without removing the brace.
Q. Will it stay in place?
The dial is designed to lock the fit in once you set it, which helps keep the brace where you want it through everyday wear. If it ever feels like it's shifting, a quick turn of the dial brings it back.
Q. Why is it priced higher than basic braces?
The dial system, the knit fabric, and the internal support structure are designed specifically for this product. It's built as a more refined alternative to the standard sleeves and wraps you'll find at a pharmacy.
Q. Does it offer compression or support?
Both. The fabric provides compression around the joint, and the internal structure adds shape and support. The dial controls how much of each you feel.
Q. I'm cleared by my PT but still hesitant about getting back on the court โ is this for me?
Yes. Many players use the NeeBrace Elite in exactly this stage โ past formal recovery, but not yet back to playing without thinking about it. The dial lets you add support when you need confidence (lateral movement, hard pivots, reaching for the wide ball), and ease off when you don't.
Q. I tweaked my knee months ago and I'm just now thinking about this. Is it too late?
It's not. People use the NeeBrace Elite from a few weeks post-clearance through years after their original tweak. Some wear it daily, some only for specific moments (matches, harder games, longer sessions). There's no expected timeline โ you wear it as long as it adds something to your game or your day.
Q. Will this slow down my recovery or make me dependent on it?
No. The NeeBrace Elite is designed as a confidence layer, not a replacement for strength. You can dial down support over time as you naturally rebuild trust in your knee. Most players find they reach for it less and less without consciously trying โ which is the goal. Some keep it on for higher-intensity match play and skip it for warmups. Your call.
Q. Will it stay in place during lateral pivots and quick direction changes?
Yes โ that's specifically what the dial system was designed for. Once you set the tightness, it locks in place and doesn't slide or shift the way sleeves and standard wraps do. You can pivot, lunge, backpedal, and reach for the wide ball without readjusting between points.
Q. Do I need a doctor's recommendation to use it?
No โ the NeeBrace Elite is designed as an everyday support and comfort product. If you have an active injury, a recent surgery, or an ongoing condition, we'd always suggest checking in with your doctor or physical therapist first.
Q. Can I use it during active recovery (still in PT)?
Yes โ many players start using the NeeBrace Elite while still working with their PT. Because it's adjustable, you can dial in more or less support to match your stage of recovery. Coordinate with your physical therapist to make sure it fits into your plan.

Q. Is it suitable for older adults or younger players?
The NeeBrace Elite is made for adult use across all ages. The dial system can be especially helpful for players who find traditional velcro or strap systems harder to manage during quick on-court adjustments.
Q. Is it comfortable for longer wear?
The fabric is breathable and the dial lets you ease the tension during quieter moments and tighten it again before activity, which many people find more comfortable than a fixed-tension brace.
Q. Will it irritate sensitive skin?
The fabric is moisture-wicking and made with skin contact in mind. If you have sensitive skin, you can wear it over a thin layer of clothing while you get used to it.
Q. Can I wear it during activity?
Yes โ for daily activity, walking, hiking, riding, racket sports, and similar use. We don't recommend wearing it while sleeping or in water.
Q. How do I clean it?
Hand wash in cold water with a mild soap, then air dry flat. We don't recommend the washing machine, dryer, or harsh detergents.
Q. Will the dial hold up over time?
The dial is designed for regular daily adjustment and is covered under our 1-year warranty against defects.
Q. How long will the brace last?
With normal wear and proper care, the NeeBrace Elite is made to hold up well over time. Lifespan will vary based on how often and how intensely it's used.
Q. What if my dial isn't working right?
Send us a quick photo and a note about what's happening. If it's a defect within the warranty window, we'll take care of it.
Q. What's your return policy?
30-day risk-free returns. If the NeeBrace Elite isn't right for you, return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. No restocking fee. It's okay if it's been worn โ we want you to actually try it.
Q. Do I have to pay return shipping?
Within the US, we cover return shipping with a prepaid label. Outside the US, return shipping is the customer's responsibility, but the refund itself remains in full.
